Hereafter is a multidisciplinary creative practice, combining research, visual design and writing as services in areas including but not limited to education, feminism, circularity, sustainability, climate action, conservation, reforestation, regeneration and impact financing.

Bonjour! I’m Mehak. Hindi for fragrance.
With five years of professional experience in creative leadership roles, I specialise in research, design strategy and non-fiction writing. I have worked with None In Three Global Research Centre, Earlyseed Ventures and Interessensgemeinschaft Feministische Autorinnen (#igfem) in Vienna with who I continue to contribute on an EU-Project for women in literature.
My academic paper on modular communications & sustainability was published by Springer for the International Conference of Research into Design (ICoRD’21) at IIT Bombay. In 2024, two of my poems were featured in an anthology published in Austria.
I began Hereafter in 2023 with a goal to engage in no-bullshit social design where we marry profit and impact, finance and society. My goal is to empower people who are making a difference with strong communication systems.

I value education for young children and protection of the environment. I believe that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to design and I enjoy figuring out tailor-made solutions. To recharge during busy days, I enjoy mid-day video game sessions and on my days off, I explore the city on foot and eat a lot of different food.

Graphic Designer
I value sustainable consumer practices: making mindful choices that reduce environmental impact, support ethical production, and promote long-term sustainability. I live by the principle of designing with empathy. I love baking and singing, and my mid-day energy boost is taking a nap, a snack and a workout.

UI/UX Designer
One social cause close to my heart is providing education to underprivileged kids. A design philosophy I live by - “Good design is as little design as possible.” My fav hobby is reading books and journaling. My mid-day energy boost - nature walks and music.
