Nazaria Arts Collective trains and empowers children from low-income communities like Shankarwadi (Jogeshwari) in Mumbai with digital arts and filmmaking tools such that the children are able to to tell their own stories in their own ways.

At Hereafter, we supported them with some of the communications and outreach for two of their events.
Nazaria held an exhibition at the beautiful Kathiwada space in Worli, Mumbai in December 2023. They displayed and put on sale NazArtist's zines, posters, films and upcycled tote bags. The intention was to invite people to engage in the children’s narratives. The evening concluded with a pitch by the founders and a panel discussion.
Project Brief
The founders needed a pitch deck to onboard patrons on the eve of the exhibition, some help to design invitations for their VIP guest list and support to record behind-the-scene videos for their personal marketing material.
Impact
With collective effort from everyone who helped out, the event saw a footfall of over 40 people, 90% of whom bought Art or showed collaboration interest. Nazaria nurtured over 8 solid collaboration potentials and raised INR 40,000+ during the Kathiwada Exhibition on December 19th, 2023.

May-August 2024
Outreach to Rotary Club of Deonar
Over the summer of 2024, Nazaria ran a 4-month long filmmaking intensive, by the end of which, the children made five short films.
We supported them with fundraising and outreach to Rotary with communication, donation and a long-term partnerships.
Impact
Nazaria raised INR 6,75,000 for their May-August 2024 filmmaking program to train 20 children in scriptwriting, videography and editing for their own short films on social themes of their choice.
